Lollipop Bouquet

Does anyone know how to make a lollipop bouquet? If so can you explain it to me please?

I guess you use a pot and floral foam. How do you get height to some of the lollipops? Is it just a question of buying a special shape of foam?

I suspect that the makers of these, extend the original sticks of some lollipops...so choose which you want higher and then bind wooden dowels on to the end and arrange so that only the original stick shows....if using a pot, you may need to weight the bottom of it or the arrangement will be top heavy and refuse to stand upright.

You could place a balloon weight or two in the bottom...or maybe plastecine....then use florists foam on top...a little disc one with some depth.

There was a thread on this a few weeks back & it got a few replies, me included, it was in this forum so if you scroll through a few pages of back posts you should find it - I think they called it a lollypop tree, but not sure, but you could maybe try a search too

Thanks to you both. Rockinhippy, I searched and found the thread 'sweet trees' some food for thought there Smile. I saw one brought in by a mother a couple of years ago who was most definitely a florist. It was awesome, if I start practising now I might have it right by the time I need it.
