Long shot but reusable lolly pop sticks

I make batches of home-made ice lollies and instead of using the plastic tops that come with the lolly moulds I currently use wooden lolly sticks.

So I part freeze yoghurt/smoothies etc and then push the stick in, freeze, turn them out and wrap them in baking paper and put them into labelled freezer bags for different flavours. That way I can make 20- 30 at a time. Saves me money and I know what goes in them.

But I never re-use the sticks because it seems wrong.

So I am looking for a plastic alternative tot he wooden lolly stick that I can freeze in the lolly and then wash and re-use. Is there anything like this? I thought Arts and Crafts would be the best place to ask Smile

I've seen plastic teaspoons used as lolly sticks in yoghurt pot moulds. Worked really well.

Would Lakeland plastics have something?

Thanks, this somehow didn't get added to my watched threads and I forgot about it Blush

I am an avid lakeland fan and they just seem to be concentrating on their instant lolly product.

I shall try out the teaspoon idea as I do have plastic teaspoons for family parties that we have here.
