Tie Dye?

DD has expressed a wish to tie dye a t shirt as she likes the look but not the price Wink

Can anyone recommend a kit or somewhere online to buy supplies? DD is adult size 10-12 so kit for kids Ive seen that includes T shirt would be no good Sad

Course if we do this as a craft 'project' it will be educational - one way for DD to get free T shirt (perhaps she should pay for blank T shirt and I pay for other materials? Hmm

Dylon cold water dyes are what you need ... like these

Just buy a plain white cheap T shirt in a cut that she likes & tightly tye it up in elastic bands/old hair ties etc, so that when open it will make rings in patterns you like - rings are a good first try design & then use the dyes as above - no kit needed
LOTS OF LINKS TO HELP IN HERE

She might also like this, which is similar, more colourful & easier to control

Sorry forgot that was an American one Blush - its just Surgical Spirit, you can get it cheaply at any chemist & use the permanent markers as they don't wash out
