How much to make a scatter cushion cover?

So I have some material to make cushions, and as I can't sew was wondering if anyone could advise me the going rate for a cover? No idea of size of scatter cushions either, maybe 14 inches square? totally and utterly clueless

Difficult question to answer really as it will depend on lots of things, where abouts you live for starters - I'd recommend looking around for someone locally who is advertising curtain making & ring & ask them - then if you or friends or family know anyone who sews well, offer them a bit less to do it for you

It really depends on what you want, whether you want them piped, what sort of closing you want and if you want any further decoratiion, applique and so on.

However it should not be terribly expensive... might even be worth giving your local college a call to see if one of their students would take it on as a small project.

Thanks ladies! Have been quoted £10 per cover but am going to shop around. I don't want anything fancy, just a zipped closure.
