Got a lovely new Crochet mag at borders yesterday.

Called Afghans. It was 3.95 and has 33 patterns in - lots of scarfs, cushions and blankets. Very good value imho if afghans are your sort of thing. It had some instructions for knitting some of the items, but was biased towarsd crocheters.

I went into the Cath Kidston store in London the other day and feel in love with the afghan rugs on display there

would love to do one myself (although my crocheting skills are VERY limited!)

will look out for this

This does sound interesting MTS. I'm very much a beginner at crochet - is there much in the way of explanation and tutorial in the mag, (before I go hotfooting it to my nearest Borders to search it out and find it's way over my head)?
