Does anyone know of a knitting group that meets in North West London. I am in Kensal Rise and really want to join one. Alternatively I could set up my own......but I am a little bit nervous, as could prob describe myself as a bit shy/lacking confidence etc

My friend is running a "stich and chat" knitting session at her son's school in Primrose Hill/Chalk Farm. Next one Friday night at 7:30pm. Lots of Mums...

If you are interested email me [email protected] and I'll get more details for you.

TZS you might want to repost your email address with spaces in, or PM it to luckywinner - you're just asking to be spammed by publishing it where it can be harvested on t'internet.

Your local yarn shops will probably have knit nights as well, OP. If you're on Ravelry you can use their search tool.

In Willesden Green Queens parade there are some pop up shops you may have seen about them in the Brent magazine. Well one of them had a poster in their window re starting a knitting group.

I thought it was a bit expensive though £12 and you get a glass of wine or a cuppa.

Thanks catmadcaz. I might take a walk up there tomorrow. I keep meaning to join up with some stuff in the Queensbury so will put it all on my list. £12 is quite steep though for a natter and a cup of tea.
