my scissors stink

my recently bought scissors, orange handles, um, about £15 I think.... when I use them to cut out a whole pattern or some thing, the "join" heats up and they stink, VILE

what can I do???

you what?? they smell when you use them??? how very, very weird. Probably the kind of glue they've used. Nothing you can do about it, unless you take them back to the shop and, er, explain that they 'smell' Hmm !

eheheh i know, its not just me that can smell it, ive had DD and DP have a sniff too

Shock I'd say take them back too, thats not normal at all Confused, maybesome substandard lubricant used on them or something

IF you can't take them back, try washing them & then soaking in a mix of lemon & vinegar & then re oil with machine & dry excess off with kitchen roll

that is so weird! i would definitely take them back.
or have a look on the manufacturers website and see if you can e-mail them and ask if it's normal??
