Scrapbooking give me some pointers

I'm a total novice when it comes to scrapbooking but I wanted to put my wedding photos into a scrapbooking. I was thinking of using the wedding cards for decoration and getting wedding wrapping paper. Would this work or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

to ensure longevity of your project you need to ensure that any paper (and adhesive) that comes into contact with photos is acid and lignin free - which wrapping paper & cards probably wouldn't be. Otherwise your photos will yellow and deteriorate over time.

You can get some lovely wedding-based specialist scrapbooking products to ensure your album stands the test of time.

You could always do a separate scrapbook for your cards :)
