Vintage quilt blocks - what shall I do with them

I got some 1940's quilt blocks on eBay recently. I want to frame one of them but what shall I do with the rest? I don't want to make a quilt using them together because they don't 'go' - has anyone got any bright ideas?

individual cushions?

Some sort of table runner? 2 or 3 of them would work together if you had the right sashing etc.

How big are they by the way?

A mix of sizes between 12'' to 6''

Coffee pot warmer?

Pot holders
Mats?

I'd be tempted to get some navy fabric and make a small lap quilt or wall hanging with them. I think if you highlight a common colour in them, they might not look too bad together.
