I, er, I mean the DCs, have been watching a lot of meg and mog and I got it in my head that I could make a meg doll.
Has anyone made a fabric doll before? Have you got any tips?!
I was thinking of cutting two triangles for her dress sewing together and stuffing with batting, then a round head with drawn on face. And perhaps two wool plaits for her legs and wool for her hair. So the doll would be quite flat. Do you think it would work?

When I was a child we used to make dolls like these out of plaited wool - is that the kind of thing you mean? - very quick and easy, and no sewing. You could sew the triangles for her dress onto the woollen body.
