I have friends who have done it. However I would say that they are really experienced and have a large stock. For them it has always been really successful, if you have not gone before go and take a look, also look at places like Goodwood (another success for my chums). and see what is selling.

I would certainly get smaller fairs under your belt before giving this a try.

Went this time and chatted to a stall holder who said this year had been terrible sales wise-a general view apparently. Too many yummy noises and not enough purchases. Not sure if that's helpful but there you are!

I have quiet a few few friends who have done the fair and think its good, one has switched to the Spirit of Summer/Christmas. There are lots of other fairs, I did one season with www.thetravellingsouk.com and learnt a lot from that experience. If you are in London, the Hurlingham club hold fairs that for one friend has proved to be very successful, as was Barnes Fair. Best of luck!

Thank you!
I hae done a lot of little fairs, and this year am increasing to the larger ones but this is so expensive I am nervous - trouble is lots of my business comes after the shows so it is hard to know if it has been a success or not sometimes!

Thank s for your replies, really appreciated x
