Where can I get extra strong elasticated thread for beading?

I ordered some translucent elasticated thread from Ebay but it seems to snap very easily and a choker I re-threaded is already losing it's elasticity.

All the online elastic seems to be this thin, translucent stuff.

Do you have a Hobbycraft near you?

Thank you so much nobut - I have found some on their website (had never heard of them).

Jillybeads is a good beading website. Beadalon is a very well known company who makes threads for beading. Google either of those and you should find the right thing. HTH

Thanks Choca - will look at those too. I've ordered some from Hobbycraft but if it's not v strong I'll try one of your suggestions.

Elasicity is another one, you can get it from Beads Unlimited I think...
