Does anyone sell anything on Etsy? Or know of anyone that does?

I am talking about paintings specifically. Mainly canvasses, they are kind of folksy rather than traditional landscapes if you know what I mean... I am just wondering if people actually do sell things on Etsy?

I sell hand sewn applique bags, baby shoes, pincushions, baby blankets etc on Etsy. It won't make my fortune but I get enough money to buy books from Play.com :) It would help if I had sewn ANYTHING since Christmas though...
99% of my sales have been to the US as it's predominantly a US site.

folksy is the uk equivalent. i've sold small amounts on both sites. i'm imaging canvas paintings to be quite bulky to send so etsy possibly not the best. All my etsy sales have gone to the usa

I have things for sale on etsy and artfire, I am yet to sell anything though.

Ah, I didn't realize so many Etsy buyers were in the US. Will have a look at Folksy!

I have recently started following this online craft store on FB after seeing it on a friends profile -

luulla I have"luulla's top picks" come up on my profile frequently throughout the day, so great promotion if one of your items gets picked!

It is quite a new site and although not UK based, does seem to have a lot of UK sellers.

I have no idea how this site compares to etsy/folsky I just enjoy the virtual window shopping!

I've sold more on Etsy than Folksy.
I find Etsy really easy to use, I love that you can set your ads and check your stats.
Most of all I love that you can save items and shops to favourites - there is some truly stunning stuff on there.
