ideas for birthday card for granny please

Hi. Tomorrow my grumpy, ailing five-year old will have to - and I mean HAVE TO; it will not be voluntary - make a stunning birthday card for her grandmother. Any ideas which would be easy, personal and suitable for a household with no printer? I think I could normally think this out myself, but after a week with no sleep due to ceaseless nocturnal coughing, my mind is a blank.

Use thumb prints to make flower petals in various colours. Use a green felt tip to draw in flower stems and thumbprint some leaves.

Hand write in the middle of the card one of these suitably cheesy poems from here. Job done.

Thumb print flowers it is! Great idea. Didn't mention that Granny is French, so I am spared the poems, but will write 'Joyeuse Anniversaire'. Thank you - I think she'll actually like the idea.
