Oh, FabricLand has a fantastic selection. They have a website (sorry can't link) but you order by phone unless you can get to their shops which are mainly SE coast.

backstitch do a lovely range called Klona Cotton in about 30 different colours and a really good price (£5.50 m) You can buy single FQ or a bundle
