Nice pics, i really like the beech tree! What camera have you got?

CiderwithBuda · 14/02/2012 22:20

Very nice. Especially like junction 25! Almost home!

OrmIrian · 15/02/2012 10:32

Thanks!

It a Fuji Finepix something or other- got it for christmas. It's going to be my preparing-for-an-empty-nest hobby Grin

I have heaps of them but I liked those the best. Lots of pictures of teddy bears and the dogs bum courtesy of other people trying mummy's new camera!

jct25 was an odd one I know but I like all the spray and the mist and the eery light in the sky.

hi buda - how is your lad doing?

:)

Are you having fun with it? I need to get back into taking photos , it's taken a back seat to a while load of crap since probably summer.

OrmIrian · 15/02/2012 12:35

yes i am soupdragon. But it's so cumbersome! Have got used to taking my IPhone and just using that. It's got a panorama function and I've got some lovely pictures using that.

I agree with nickeldorritt, your pictures are art.

fabulousdarling · 16/02/2012 16:38

I love August 004 bestSmile

OrmIrian · 20/02/2012 13:49

Thankyou Grin

those august photos were taken on a really wierd evening - there has been a huge rainstorm but it was clearing and there was these wisps of mist and a rainbow combined with bright blue sky and the beginnings of a sunset. Such vivid colours - for the UK anyway!

Lovely photos, you have an eye for a beautiful sky - hope you really enjoy your new hobby Orm. Smile

They are art in their own right. And I'd also add that as some one who draws and paints, - I use lot of photgraphic images - so I'm always interested to see people's photographic work and hear camera recs. Smile

OrmIrian · 21/02/2012 16:39

Thanks kurri!

I wish I could draw or paint as well but I am not an artistic soul. DC are better.

I have ordered 2 prints of my photos that I am going to frame nicely for mum's b'day present. She's given me enough of her ..erm ....interesting...watercolours over the years Wink

I can't draw either - looks like a 5 year old's done it (with the wrong arm) Grin

I think that's a lovely for a gift :)
