Singer Knitting Machine

I have a singer knitting machine that I bought around 1988, I used it for years and years then about 10 years ago damaged the bed pulling out a needle incorrectly.
I now have a yearning to start using it again with all the intarsia type jumpers about. So would anyone have any idea where I could get it repaired in or around the Fife area of Scotland? It would seem a terrible waste if I had to chuck it out.

Try to find somewhere that sells coned yarn for knitting machines, or runs courses. They might be able to put you in touch with someone.

Had a google and found this - www.scottishmachineknitters.org.uk/documents/Newsletter%20Jan%202011(SAMPLE).pdf

There is a contact name in Fife, so hope that helps.

I bought a Brother about the same time, have boxes full of wool, but haven't used it since before dd (14) was born!
