... and don't have a clue where to start.

can you tell me about how you started and what i need to do, how you learn to be creative with them, and where you get materials and learn what do do with them...

so many questions but just confused....

I'm with you alittlebitshy. I really like the idea of scrapbooking and spent a small fortune on a kit that's supposedly got everything I need in it but am almost clueless and inspirationless! Any tips from anyone who's into this, links to web sites that might give inspiration etc would be greatly appreciated.

Lisa (being induced with baby number 1 tomorrow!)

agree with yorkiegirl, you will be surprised how artistic you really are. as with every hobby, the more you do it the better you become at it.

how about starting off with a mini abulm or doing smaller pages like 6x6 or 8x8 to get started.

Check out \link{http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/uk scrappers} for brill inspiration and an excellent forum.

Hope all goes well tomo BBWBabeLisa

I am really unartistic too but really do fancy having a go. It's my birthday in a few weeks and I have asked PILs and also DH's grandad to get me a nice scrapbook and some nice bits and pieces. I want to do DD's first year - so wanting something pretty and girly, and baby like too.

Thanks for the link - will look for some ideas.

here for gallery

I find the best thing to do is sit diown with a few photos and to write down the words and phrases that come to mnd- so winter smiles, snow queen dress, bubbly bridesmaids or whatever for a winter wedding, things that sum up how you remember the occasion, then that should help you pick colour schemes, embellishments etc.
