Crafting shopping expedition- it wasn't my fault...

Popped into town today to have a craft nosey around the shops.

At the cashpoint I accidently pressed a button twice and ended up withdrawing £150 instead of £20!! No problem I thought, I would just work my way down the high street and pay the extra back in.
Unfortunately, I happen to pass by 3 craft shops and ELC . Got lots of bargains but eventually payed in rather less than £130.

I bought- a scrapbook and inserts , various card for the die swop, 3 lovely pieces of scrapbook paper and 5 metres (I think) of ribbon from ELC. And a skirt and a top!

But I still need to go to the paper mill and fill up on a box of paper!

wouldn't it be brilliant if the cash machine only took £20 from your account!!!

SoupDragon · 06/01/2006 19:05

"accidently pressed a button twice" yeah, right...

Whizzz · 06/01/2006 19:10

There's something about the post-Christmas season isn't there? Must be the chance to be a bit more free with the theming. So far this week I have spent £46, with a trip to canny crafts next week (Monday if I do my essay in time, anyone who wants anything CAT me, I'll post it on up). I pre-planned my shop for about £30 on the internet site but I bet I'll find a few essential extras....

And they have fab Welsh stamps: the kids here all sing happy Birthday in Welsh, so must stock up on a few of them. Will be great confusing the folks back home

PeachyClair · 07/01/2006 12:48

I submitted an order to Canny Crafts just now- it was £28, then I happened to notice they ahd sissix side kicks on offer.... oops

£58 gone, just like that

Whizzz · 07/01/2006 13:39

Whizzz · 07/01/2006 14:36

kiwibella · 07/01/2006 14:36

Peachy, I use Maori words and phrases which would be commonly known at home here. I only make my cards for personal purposes tho so it's easy to explain to friends / family here.

kiwibella · 07/01/2006 14:36
