How many was your target? Was it 111?

Well done :)

overmydeadbody · 18/11/2011 18:20

That's right Soupy, 111, and I've got 5 more weeks to do that in!

Well done. I really enjoy reading your blog.

NotMostPeople · 18/11/2011 18:36

Love it, I hadn't seen your blog before but have just bookmarked you. I've been working on a couple of new projects myself today, does writing the blog help you to keep going and not leave lots of half finished items?

overmydeadbody · 18/11/2011 19:00

Thank you thereinmadness (love your name btw)

Yes NotMostPeople, surprisingly, one of the best tihngs about having my blog is that is spurs me on to actually finish projects instead of leaving tham half finished to be forgotten forever in the botton of my sewing basket ! Before I started blogging I hardly ever finished projects, it gave me the motivation I needed to actually see a project through to completion. I highly recommend it.

Lovely bagssssssssssssssss
I admire you for setting a target like that; I was once given the task of making 35 pairs of wings for a school play and by pair 5 I was calling them disgusting names :o)

I haven't seen your blog either and have bookmarked it

WELL DONE

overmydeadbody · 20/11/2011 18:28

Thanks Pudden!

lol at calling them disgusting names. That's what I get like if I have to make too many of the same thing. Having to make the same thing over and over again gets me quite moody.

well done from me too.

Now this must mean it's about 5 weeks until DS' first birthday, as I read your first few posts with fat curled up newborn on my chest. And reminds me I've managed to make approximately three things this year :( Hey ho, got to be easier with a toddler. Hasn't it?

PelvicF1oorOfSteel · 20/11/2011 21:08

They're gorgeous, I've followed a link to your blog before (when you'd made shorts I think) but forgot to bookmark it and couldn't remember your username. I'm really looking forward to having another browse! Smile

Lyftiduft -DS2 is 1 soon after and I've made nothing this year Sad, I'm hoping next year he will sleep and I'll do better. I have lots of ideas ready as I can use the laptop with him feeding, can't get to the sewing machine though.

overmydeadbody · 21/11/2011 08:16

Lyftie and Pelvic stop putting yourselves down, remember that you've been busy making a baby and caring for it for it's first year, that's a far bigger more important achievement than any art and craft Grin

I have a mental image now of you two snuggled up with fat babies on your chests browsing my blog Smile

Your mental image of me is probably pretty accurate, DS2 is a chunky little chap Smile.

I'm considering setting DS1 to work on some of your baubles, he loves PVA. Glue-gunning and varnishing might be achievable once they're in bed...
