There are a bunch of quilty-sewing-crafty people who've formed a group called Quilts4London, and they are trying to gather 14,000 pennants, one for each participating Olympian and Paralympian. Here's a link www.quilts4london.org.uk
All the info is on their website. It's a non-profit, community project to welcome all athletes to the UK and give them a very personal momento of the Games. I'm not one of the organisers, I just think it's a nice idea.
