Specifically a sausage dog.

Any ideas? Not a knitted one - I had one of those and the real sausage dog ate it.

I'm sure I've got a pattern for a crocheted one in an old book that my mum dumped on me gifted to me when she had a clear out. Any good?

ZombiesAteYourCervix · 29/10/2011 19:55

can't crochet and the bloody dog would eat it. I'm thinking a nice tough fabric type. thanks though.

Is it this sort of thing that you are looking for?

WitchOfWoo · 29/10/2011 20:10

two long old socks, stuff with rolled up newspaper, (broadsheets rolled up withwise are perfect door size) cover with corduroy or similar and stitch up the side.
Cut and sew two pieces of felt on the ends, add felt ears, button nose and eyes.

WitchOfWoo · 29/10/2011 20:11

sorry - opened up width and tightly rolled.

ZombiesAteYourCervix · 29/10/2011 20:18

that's nice angel. do you think i could make one?

The Guardian website has one..though it may not be a dog-shaped pattern.

If you're looking to make because you can't find what you're looking for in the shops have you seen the new Ikea snake in their soft toys department? Perfect size for a draught excluder I thought! Wink
