what do you do with handmade cards that you recieve?

as someone has obviously spent ages making them/thinking about them etc. i wouldnt want to chuck them in the green bin as i do the others.
wondered what everyone else does.

They go the way of all the other cards, ie after a couple of weeks on display they end up in the childrens' toybox for playing with, ripping up, drawing on etc.

That said, I have kept and framed one which I thought was gorgeous.

I normally throw all cards away but this year I have got one homemade card which came from a mumsnet crafter and it's gorgeous.
I don't think I'll throw that away, it's too nice.

They get recycled into prezzie tags for the following year in our house (I try to remember not to give it back to the person who sent it me, though!)

I just chuck mine afer I have salvaged anything that I can reuse!!!!

Well one of them (for my DD) was made by Yorkiegirl and it is great as the main front part was a detachable angel that is now on the tree

Others I will take off any bits that are reusable and then recycle the rest.
