Erm, i have been following the threads about sizzix for a few days now.

I have just started making cards again but i usually buy kits or design my own but i keep reading about the sizzix you all have and my questions is this: What are sizzix, and what can you do with them?

Sorry if being a bit thick!!!

I've just got a shiney brand new Sizzix !

Basically it is a big press that cuts shapes.
Like a biscuit cutter !

Probably the best person to ask is Whizzz.

Looking at it - I just can't see why its so expensive. Surely someone could make a version out of a big lump of metal & a handle ??

How about just put the die on the floor & jump on it ????

It has the outline of the shape on it - the Sizzix presses it into the paper or cad to cut out the shape. You can get 3 different sizes & lots of different shapes

Happy to cut some for you if you want a look!
