hi typing lower case cos onn ipad. Is mod podge worth buying or is it a glorified PVA glue? It seems as though it is a glue that dries clear but that it also acts as a varnish or sealant. Also I have been looking at image transfers onto glass but the American sites keepnreferring to clear Scotch packing tape - I take it that this is something different from your average sellotape do you know if it sold in the UK?

Scotch tape is just a brand name! It's the same as sello tape. If asking for package tape, then just need a wider width.

Not sure if mod podge is worth the extra amount. It really is like pva glue (maybe thinned slightly with water?) think you can find equivalents to it in craft stores here though.

Thanks - only just seen this as it's fallen off the threads I'm watching. I actually ended up buying a small pot of Mod Podge from Hobby craft. Am yet to use it. Am aware that Scotch tape is just a brand name but I was just wondering whether that particular Scotch tape product was available here. They have a LOT of their various tapes available here but I have never seen the extra wide, extra clear tape. Sellotape has quite a yellow tinge and I have seen a slightly opaque type of "invisible" tape from both brands but I get the feeling this Clear Scotch tape isn't a product that sells here - could be wrong though! Anyway the quest continues...
