Basically that's it!

I have started to make home made cards and next month I am doing a craft fair. Do you think I should put adult ages on cards? Ie 30, 40, 50, 60 and so on.

A few of my friends have said yes and the odd one or two say no!

At the moment I have made a few of each, but would really like a wide opinion.

So I throw it open to Mumsnet.

Thanks in advance

My opinion would be that by putting ages on them, you are restricting your market. So I would definitely have a good few non-aged ones. Also when I buy cards I tend to buy plain, no message ones, - again they will suit a wider range of people.

Good luck, it sounds fun, I hope you do well Smile

thanks Kurri, I have also wondered about the inside message too!

Will certainly take that on board

Its just that my children's cards are obviously children's cards and they cost a £1 but my adult cards are what I class as my "posh" cards and am hoping to sell them for around £4.50 - £5. I have had a fair bit of interest from friends and have sold a few for that price. Some I have given away but again not sure whether to put age on.

hmm

I have managed to sell 4 of my £4.50 cards this week, 3 people insisted I kept the change so basically I sold the cards for £5 each. I am so pleased, have also sold a few others too (DH will be pleased as he always moans my hobby costs too much - lol!)
