on a wonderful crafting forum i love, they have a board for wishes and raks(random acts of kindness)which i think would be lovely here, the idea works like this:
wishes
say for instance you are finshing a card, layout, or any craft project. and you need a few items to finish it off, like eyelets, or brads or even a diecut etc then you make a wish for it.
someone who has what you're after will grant your wish and then make a wish in return, it goes on until someone wishes for something that the original wisher has and so they grant the wish.
PIF's
(pass/pay it forward)
someone has an item they dont want or cant use, they say what it is, another person who wants it, asks for it and then lists a few items they have to pass forward. another person comes by and takes up one of the offers and posts their PIF's and so on it goes on until the original PIFer accepts a PIF.
RAK's

Here is a really sweet idea, a bit like swaps. You sign up to be put on the RAK list, the organiser(me maybe?) will send out the list and you send someone from the list a rak of a/some craft item it doesn't have to be of huge monetary value and it could be a few items from your own stash, imagine recieving a little sometiing thru the post that you dont expect.
The list wont be available to anyone who isn't on the list and maybe guidelines put in place like a join date or something.
