WWYD with large pieces of raw silk (and a baby on the way)?

I have 5 pieces of raw silk, each 1m x 2m, each a different colour. Most of the colours colours go together reasonably well.

What would you make with them? I was thinking about a sling. Any other ideas? The baby's due in a month and I'd like to get cracking

How on earth to you intend to wash it? Babies vomit almost continuously.

Could you make a quilt? Im not a huge fan of slings since I saw a baby being carried on its mums back in a cheapo primark fleece that looked fit to split.

Oh well then ..... I stand corrected- a sling .

BestNameEver thanks for the tip about Sakura Bloom. I'd heard about silk slings being popular in the US but didn't know who made them. I see SB do multicoloured ones which is good inspiration for me.
