My first knitting pattern

I am currently finishing my stock for a craft show on Saturday, I thought I would make some beanie hats for babies, easy enough for girls and some really cute ones too but I struggled with finding something for a boy... so I am proud to present my very first pattern what I wrote (bet Ernie Wise would have looked cute in it). Let me know what you think, please?

Love the hats! Just a point, not trying to do a negative, we were saying at our knitting group that some of the patterns in knitting magazines seem not to have been checked, and therefore cause problems. Skim reading the pattern it seems fine....Good luck at the show!

Yes, it is a discussion I have had with my LYS, the two offenders for us were Rowan and Debbie Bliss, Sharon (LYS owner) said that the errata slips are nearly always in the next post when their patterns arrive!

Anyway, as you can see I have made four of them, and the last three were done following the pattern line by line, also did two of those in the same wool to check that the tension and amount of wool were spot on.

Will let you know how the show goes.

Yay! Kits do seem to be a current thing. I have made recycled handbags in the past, which go well, though they take ages....I had considered doing a kit form of that, but never quite got round to it! Can you sell your kits off your blog, or etsy, ebay, somewhere like that?

cute! I've found that that style of simple beanie stays on the best. I made a few for DS from sock yarn.
I like the icord knot, really sweet!
