The best book or weblink to crocheting flowers?

I love flowers and I am very interested in developing my crocheting skills. I love Japanese crochet flowers but so far no clear instructions. Is there a book in English which would include Japanese flowers? There are some nice books on amazon for crocheting flowers but I just do not know which one is right and easy to understand.
Thank you.

My friend lent me one recently - will just go and find a link.

here you go - I don't crochet but I've knitted things from this book and my friend has crocheted lots from this book and it all looks fab.

I can highly recommend The 100 flowers as per link by bintofbohemia.

It has sections for beginner, intermediate and advanced, and has lovely photo's and instructions.

Have you had a look at Ravelry ? You have to sign up (free) to get access to it, but there are lots of free patterns. If there's nothing suitable there, someone on their forums will probably know where to look. Good hunting!

Have you looked at this blog?

Thank you very much for all your kind replies! I have an account with Ravelry which I do not use actually. Will check what they have tonight. The book looks lovely. I think I will check our library first and if there is one then I just photocopy what I like. Spring has come and suddenly we need to buy so many things :(
I have never came across this blog. I see that there are instructions how to crochet the flower. I am so inexperienced in crocheting but I hope I manage it.
Thanks a lot ladies & gents (just in case there are men over here who like crochet) :)

Antshouse, thanks for introducing me to this blog. I really like it. I like the colours she is using for her crochet creations. Ver, very nice.

Hi colour world, I'm a newbee crocheter and love doing flowers. I went on you tube and found lots of good clips to follow. It gave me confidence as I didn't have to follow a pattern, but it helped me understand the stitch terminology in a practical way. Have a look and see what you think.
