Can anyone recommend a good book to get me started? One with lots of ideas and examples. I'm desparate to give it a go, but really don't know where to start. I've looked at some of the websites that were linked from here a while ago, but would like something concrete. Does anyone have links to examples of their own stuff, btw?

There are few that scrapbook here and Im a newbie to it.
Have you had a look here?

All I will say is JM for a newbie, your pages don't look like it. Your pages are lovely and extremely professional looking. I think you have to have a bit of an arty streak for scrapbooking though. I am capable of making something that I have seen somewhere else but struggle to come up with ideas that are original. Funnily enough when I come up with something original, I look through a card site or shop and it's already been done. Only so many things you can put on a card I spose.

IMHO, books are not a particularly good investment - you can get so much more for free on the internet ! One of my LOs is here .

Thank you for the compliments - can I just say that you have excellent taste?

I think he's gorgeous enough to eat, but I think I might be slightly biased!

I forgot to say that the journalling is in the pocket and you pull it out by the tab.
