I'll try to explain the easy way to you. Its hard expalining it without you seeing IYKWIM

Get two pins and stick them in a piece of blue tack or plasticine. Make the distance between the pins the size you want your bow to be.(For bigger bows to use on Christmas presies you can get someone to lend their fingers).

Put your ribbon behind each pin and hold the ends towards you....so the ribbon would look like the letter "n" from above.

The ribbon in your left hand then crosses over the top of the ribbon in your right hand.

Then feed it underneath the ribbon that is in between the two pins.

Pull the ribbon over the top and then tie in a knot.

Cut the ends to neaten them.

Ive typed this out three times trying to make it as simple as possible. It is really easy and you get a lovely neat bow. I learnt this trick when I worked as a display artist and its one of those silly bits of info that has stuck with me.

HTH.

explanation sounds fine to me - and such a simple way to make bows. Cool, a new trick
