I'm making a couple of laptop sleeves for xmas pressies out of quilt weight fabric, which I have tried to line with medium weight iron-on interfacing. But it hasn't stuck! What have I done wrong?????????????? I had the iron on a wool setting and ironed it for about 10 minutes, some of it seemed to stick, but then I boosted the heat to see if that would work and some of it wrinkled and still didn't stick. This is my first go at iron on interfacing, but I really, really need it to work and stick.

Help please?

I was going to ask if you bought the iron on interfacing as you can get iron on and sewin interfacing. Its an easy mistake to make though and i have had to look very carefully at my stocks when making things as they are easy to mix up and if you only ask for interfacing in some places they assume you mean the sew in stuff.

Thanks for the replies, yes it was definately iron on as it had the little bumps on it. After a rest I decided to try again and with a hot steam iron it actually stuck!
Phew!
