Pretty please.

I've made a few things for friends and they think I should try to sell some at a craft fair, i'm not sure if they would sell or not.

What do you think? :)

hope this works

link isn't working! I think it'll only work for your FB friends.

I was having a nose though as I'm doing my first ever craft fair next week selling hand knitted and crocheted items and I'm REALLY worried that

  1. they aren't good enough
  2. I haven't got enough items and my stall will look pretty pathetic

If friends think they are good though, then I imagine they will be Smile

Narketta · 31/10/2010 20:45

Have changed my settings now Lacksdaisies so it should work.

Good luck with your stall. :)

Probably the only person on the planet who doesn't have FB.

Would love to see your crochet though...

Sinkingfeeling · 31/10/2010 21:03

I'm not on FB either, and would love to see your crochet too ...

LacksDaisies · 31/10/2010 21:23

still not working for me!

and thanks Smile

Narketta · 31/10/2010 21:28

Shameless bump in the hope that this works.

Try putting the photos on your profile, I can't see them either

Narketta · 31/10/2010 21:38

Ohhh!! I hoped they would work with the second link to photobucket. :(

monkey and grey with blue rabbit are very nice.

trumpton · 31/10/2010 21:39

Works for me. I like them and think they should sell. I would definately buy a toy that I couldn't get in the shops.

Narketta · 31/10/2010 21:42

Thanks UniS and trumpton

I made the monkey for DS and loads of people have said they like him. :)

Lovely Smile

I like the green hat style best, and the amigurumi toys are fab!!

CerealOffender · 31/10/2010 22:28

i like the toys, how much are you hoping for?

rockinhippy · 31/10/2010 22:41

Toys are really sweet & look well made, so in the right place I'm sure they would sell too, if Dd was younger I would of bought her 1 :)

coming up to Xmas, you'll probably do OK as gifts, but check out the sort of customers you would usually get passing through

Can you not do a stall share?? then you won't have to worry about under stocking, & will make it cheaper too...maybe with someone making kids clothes as it could help you both sell more.....someone buys a dress & cardi for example?

iloveblue · 01/11/2010 10:15

Love the little rabbit. Did you make it from your own pattern?

Narketta · 01/11/2010 14:43

Cerealoffender I really don't know how much to ask for, I don't want to ask for too much because obviously they won't sell.

iloveblue Thanks I love the rabbit too. All of my toys are made from my own patterns and I never write them down so each one I make is a one off.

ive just worked out how to crochet hats and was feeling really proud of myself till i saw your clever thingsGrin

Narketta · 01/11/2010 16:33

Thanks everyone i'm really pleased that you like them. Grin

I've been able to crochet granny squares for years and have made loads of blankets but fancied trying something different.

I only really started getting properly into it again a couple of months ago and i'm loving creating things.

FattyArbuckel · 01/11/2010 17:43

I would definitely buy the toys and as a personal viewpoint I would happily spend £15 on one if made from cotton or wool rather than acrylic. I think a shop would put a higher price than this on them though.

What price are you thinking of?

tyler80 · 01/11/2010 18:03

They're really nice, I keep seeing so many nice crochet things i think I ought to learn. If only there were more hours in the day.
