i have knitted stripy bobble hats for my friend's daughters for christmas and want to do matching mittens if poss. the only patterns i seem to be able to find involved double pointed needles, crochet hooks etc etc. I don't suppose anyone can point me in the direction of a simple, easy to follow mitten patter (for 2-3yr old) using just 2 normal needles (i am a bit of a novice so can only do the basics!!!)

definately try ravelry, or if you have access to a local library. I can really recommend the stripy mittens in Cool Knits for Kids

www.librarything.com/work/book/65935832

If they don't have that one in, they usually have other books available and have a quick look over.
