Need a new trim for a dress ? not sure where to get it from

I have just purchased a dress off ebay, but it had a filthy coloured grey felt fabric trim. 8mm width. Just under the chest. I have taken the trim off, it came off really easy. I want to replace it with a new white or nice pink trim, but don't know what to look for on the internet. It isn't satin trim as it is not a ribbon. It is 8mm wide with with a felt type on the surface. Any ideas of where to search on the internet for it ? Thanks. If I can't get it and use satin ribbon 8mm wide, how easy is this to stitch on as it is quite narrow, could I glue and how well would it stay on the fabric ?

Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

Not really sure what you mean! But this website might be worth a look as they have lots of pretty things...

Are you anywhere near a John Lewis - they usually have a good range.Useful to see the dress next to the trim you are looking for. If you are near Bradford, go to Bombay Stores their haberdashery is the best I've ever seen.
