Hiya All

I bought a load of ribbon stuff for my wedding favours back in 2003. I never used them and have found them boxed up in my garage. There is.....

A huge roll of Seamaid acetate ribbon in fuschia pink. Width 7/8", length will be just shy of 100 yards (I've snipped a bit off).

A smaller roll of gold, wired, organza ribbon. Really pretty, approx 1 inch wide, around 10 yards. Great for bows etc.

A massive roll of Lyon wired craft ribbon in 'Bridal White'. Width 2 3/8", length 27 yards.

Let me know if any of you can make use of it. I've also got a few flat pack cake boxes and a pack of 10 favour boxes which I'll pop on another thread.

Roughly how much would they cost for P&P NDP?

Can you take a piccie? If possible I would love to see them before deciding.

I would be quite happy to "in turn" distribute to any other MN crafters who wanted some. Or if not just take some....I really don't mind.

NomDePlume · 03/09/2005 17:09

I'll put them in a smallish box for you, let me weigh them in the box and check with the post office site for the cost.

Will get a pic on the member profiles bit asap.

You are a star, thank you. I will CAT you.

Hello Nomdeplume, what a generous offer - I'm always up for a freebie but didn't want to crash the transaction...if there is some spare Dingle I'd certainly be interested in having a look at them.

Dingle · 03/09/2005 17:22

Hi5, I wasn't about to stash it all for myself! If NDP wants to get rid of it all in 1 go, I would be more than happy to distribute it though.

NomDePlume · 03/09/2005 17:23

Postage for all 3 rolls will be £2.50. That is using Royal Mail's Second Class Recorded Signed For service. Working on the pic

TBH, I just want it to go to someone who can use it, I don't really want to be hacking it up. Feel free to pass whatever you don't want on to fellow crafters

absolutely! Not suggesting for one minute that you were going to stash it either, I can see from your posts that you offered to distribute it too - I just wanted to register a thank you and an interest - plus I've got half an hour on the computer and I feel like communicating. You carry on...

Pictures are here

I would be happy to pay the £2.50 up front and then distribute amongst hi5 and the other crafters if that sounds OK.

NomDePlume · 03/09/2005 18:00

That sounds good to me, Dingle. Like I say, it seems a shame to bin it when I know you crafty folk would get a bit of use out of it.

Dingle · 03/09/2005 20:12

If you want to email me on my yahoo addy, let me have your details, and I will divide the ribbons between us as best I can!

Dingle · 05/09/2005 21:25

NomDePlume, I still need your details to send the cheque to! Did you get my CAT, if not email my on my yahoo addy please.

Thank you.
