Attended hospital today due to reduced FM - offered a scan.

Now I have been referred to FM - ventricle measuring 10.5mm, 10.8mm then 10.9mm at 29+3. Have FU scan with fetal medicine on Monday with consultant.

12 week scan NT 1.2mm and 20 week scan all measurements normal. The rest of todays measurements showed growth and he was 3lb 2ounce for EFW.

Has anyone had any expierence of this turning out OK?

My screenings were all low risk but I was concerned as my HCG was high, rest normal. Results 1 in 390 for DS and 1 in 5000 for others.

I am 38

My son has ventriculomegaly. He's 12. He has had more than his fair share of health problems but his measurements were a lot more severe than your baby. Anything under 10mm is normal so we are talking less than a mm difference. When you also remember they are trying to measure a baby who is probably moving around, it's easy to over or under measure.

I have PM'd you @Sanpellegrino1
I do have a positive story but it's not mine so I don't feel comfortable sharing it in public.

Ask for an MRI for a good look at the brain and accurate measurements
