Hi There
I am FTM

20 week scan mid November measurements all around 50th centile, all looked good.

This morning elected to go for a private scan at 23+4 - all measurements with HC 50th centile Abdo 75th and Femur 15th - weight prediction 1 ounze 6 lb.

The sonographer was an NHS midwife who works at the local hospital too in scanning and was not concerned in the slightest. Have came home and did a bit of reading as seen its the measurement for a fetus at 22+6 so a few days behind.

Should I go for a repeat scan or just forget about it?

he is bouncing about fine and I feel well in myself - my screening tests were all low risk and I am green pathway. Kind of wishing I had not gone for the private scan now

Forget about it.

I had to get mine done regularly and the centiles were all over the pace. Its not that accurate and "normal" is a very wide range.

Congrats on your pregnancy!!!

No, you're fine. Being a few days behind only matters when you're really early on in the pregnancy. Babies are all different sizes at this stage.

If you are concerned please speak to your doctor. But my weekly scans of my baby were all over the place . For a few weeks they said my baby's femur was below the 0 percentile. They weren't bothered at all. I was panicking. They are piecing together lots of information and trying to measure a baby that wpnt keep still. My baby came out about 15th percentile by weight and now bobs along about the 50th percentile height at infants school. but I remember age 3 i took him because he was below the 0 percentile. They were very relaxed again especially as small height differences mean big percentile changes and a few months later he was back at 25 percentile height and weight.
