NIPT Concepto timelines

Hello all, I’m waiting on my NIPT results from Concepto. I’ve used them before and that result was high-risk for T21, and it was accurate. When it's a high risk result, they phone you rather than than email.

Last time I tested on a Monday, the sample arrived with Concepto on the Wednesday, processing was complete by the Saturday, and I received a phone call with the result on the Tuesday.

This time, I’m expecting processing to happen tomorrow (also a Saturday). If it’s low-risk, do they email immediately - is it automated? I’m very much hoping for an email with a low-risk result, rather than another phone call.

Hi, you should be able to request what format you want the results in. I would give your provider a call in the morning. It can be a worrying time and they should be understanding of that.

Hi, I had the absolute blood test done last month and my results were emailed at end of day on the 5th working day from the day they received them at the lab. Mine were low risk. Good luck!

I got my concepto nipt results yesterday on the 7th working day (5th working day after the bloods arrived).

To update - I got the results today, on the fourth working day after the lab received the sample. It came by email which means everything was low risk 💜🙏
