Looking for advice/support.
Had our 20 week scan today. A second opinion was called for. We’ve now been referred to a specialist in our nearest city hospital.
Nothing has been told to us aside from baby has a strawberry shape brain/skull.
Our midwifery clinic couldn’t give us any information until we’ve had the specialist scan so of course I googled and Dr. Google is coming up with Edwards Syndrome.
Has anyone had this at a 20 week scan before? Is this always the prognosis? What happens next? My head is swimming and my emotions are a little bit all over the place.
