Hi, just wondering why I would be getting declining lines on first response but increasing on easy at home (cheaper tests). I’m currently 10dp5dt IVF. Bottom tests are from today on both pics.

Thank you for any advice x

I had very similar with frer and it worried me sick.
They got lighter from 12dpo to 14dpo and I thought I was miscarrying.

However, that was a successful pregnancy.

I drove myself mad with the tests, took so many, and results were all over the place. For me, I'd have darkest results with FRER in the evenings for some reason.

Once I got my 3+ on the digital, I stopped the testing.

Hi thanks so much for the reply. It’s so worrying isn’t it, I’ve just done another test with boots cheap strips and it’s a very strong positive still. I’m 17po in non IVF world. Will attach a pic x

I’ve had four very healthy children. I’ve always progressed to the day on the clear blue weeks indicator tests but never ever had a dye stealer test.

That’s good to know, perhaps I’ll go get some of the clear blue week indicator tests next! Getting an expensive pastime :)

Morning,

It’s strange you should say about the evening test being darker, mine was darker last night. I’m going to keep doing evening tests now. Looks like the pregnancy date tests will give the best Indication. I’ll attach my pic from last night, bottom test was last night and is strong again. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you

The exact concentration of your urine makes a difference. All of them are good strong positives. I would take heart from that.

I also had way darker evening tests, especially during my second pregnancy. For me it was because I worked in a busy job all day and then was putting a toddler to bed so didn't really sit down to eat or drink until later at night! I took so many FRER with that pregnancy and they were a bit all over the place early on, but on average got darker (but every single one wasn't darker than the last if that makes sense). I think your latest one is a good strong line. When I had chemical pregnancies the lines never looked anywhere close to that dark. Congratulations!

That’s good to know, I also have a toddler too and it’s my second pregnancy so very similar. Thank you for the input it’s appreciated. I’ve also had a chemical and the lines never got this dark. It’s a shame DRs don’t do bloods anymore to help confirm.

Hello,

Just wanted to give a little update that my First Response test finally progressed visibly today with the test line being darker than control (18dpo or 13dp5dt). Gives me a little reassurance, thanks again to anyone who supported and commented ❤️

Will update progress as I go along for anyone reading the thread in the future.
