20 week anomaly scan

Hi there
I would like some reassurance please! Went for my 20 week scan today and everything looked perfect. Had to go and see the consultant afterwards regarding something in my family history (which they don’t need to look into further), and she then mentioned that I need to go back in 4 weeks for a growth scan. My little girls head is on the 3rd centile so I need to go back and get it checked, but the sonographer didn’t mention this to us during the scan. Her brain and placenta all look normal.

Do I need to be worried? Or is this just routine? I suffer with anxiety so this is killing me!

Sounds like a precaution just to check all is progressing as it should be.

I ended up having scans at 18, 21, 25 and 28 weeks for various reasons and my measurements were all over the place..... one she had tiny arms, next one it was her legs that were out of proportion etc.
Just see it as an extra chance to see your little one.
