This week at our 20 weeks scan we found out one of our twins has a suspected AVSD.
We have an appointment with fetal medicine on Monday. We will almost certainly elect to have diagnostic testing as AVSD is so commonly associated with chromosome abnormalities, although it can occur in otherwise healthy babies. We will need to test both twins as although they are DCDA twins, they are both girls so they may still be identical.
Has anyone had an AVSD diagnosis? Did the baby have T21 or any other chromosome abnormality?
