Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me out so I had a cvs done at 11weeks 1day for genetic reading 2 hours after procedure I lost my waters they re scanned me confirm loss of water there words where reduced waters so I’m assuming baby boy has some water they made a hole in my sack hence the waters coming out so we where offered a termination they said baby’s heart is still beating or we where offered to wait I havnt had any cramps I’m now on day 2 I have had strange pains on one side just wondering if anyone has been through this we are due back there in 4 days time where will be scanned again they said waters may grow back and sack may heal it’s self the chances are slim they said baby would continue to grow normally till term but if waters stay low baby will pass at birth from what I have read baby’s start developing lungs at 14weeks I’m guessing what I’m asking is has anyone been through this with a positive out come unfortunately if genetics come back bad then wee will have to terminate but I never planned this baby I took the morning after pill and followed in contraception I was very poorly on antibiotics etc and other meds I had two big bleeds early on and baby has been perfect and I just feel like this little one has fought to be there and and feel it’s a fighter and I feel guilty if I give up on him and his genetics fine
I just want to give the best chance for him but I also need to be realistic I have been in bed rest for two days and I will continue to rest untill our next appointment to give everything a chance to heal

just want to add that the consultant that did mine had 100% record of no accidents but unfortunately rushed mine and didn’t know where he put the needle in me on the scan machine until the scanner showed him. Also they put on my notes it’s was 20mins it wasn’t it was 7minnits in total as I was full on clock watching
