Small chin on scan

Hi all, had a 12wk scan and have to see a consultant at 16wks as they measured a small chin. Have since been left in the dark by everyone, no midwife was there after the scan and no one is answering any calls and of course it's coming up to Christmas so won't be able to speak to anyone. Has anyone had this come up before at their first scans? FTM so a bit worried and not sure where to turn except wait a few weeks. TIA

@unknown22 Hello! I just had my 12week scan yesterday and got the same message as you, a small chin, but everything else seemed normal. How did your scan at 16weeks go? I am going to have a new scan in three weeks.. hope it was a mistake and everything is normal at the next scan🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hey, the 16 wk scan went well. Waiting for the baby to get bigger did allow for a better view. Also baby was moving so much at 12 wk scan it made it too difficult to show up so I think they do try to make sure they cover themselves. It was definitely the most worrying 4 weeks of my life but the consultant did say that picking up a problem with the small chin was very low in his experience. I'm keeping everything crossed you get good news 🙂
