Good Afternoon, I am hoping someone will be able to help me please before I have a breakdown. I am stressing so much, I am worried sick.

I am 33+2 and just had a second Doppler scan. I think they were explaining the blood flow between the placenta and baby is reduced. The first scan was PI -1.26, the second is P1 1.17.
My growth scan at 32+2 showed EFW 1786.0g which I believe is small for dates.
I was monitored and baby's heart beat and movement was spot on. I am out of my mind with worry. I can't sleep or eat and so emotional. Has anyone else experienced this please? Thankyou x

Currently going through similar, essentially everyone I've had contact with has said as long as baby is over 10% (not sure if yours is tracking above) and growth is steady they're happy. I'm only 29 weeks and tracking just above (992g) so got another scan on Tuesday to check growth progress! Although growth scans can be up to a 1lb out easily so having more should give a better idea of growth progress. Have they booked you another one? Or a consultant appointment/phone call?

My PI last check was 1.17 as well! Currently on 150mg Aspirin a day which is giving my horrendous acid reflux!

Advised PI was now with normal ranges and may just be that I'll have a smaller baby but its a wait and see game for the next few weeks, not particularly reassuring but at least you know you're not alone!

123deepbreath Thank you for your reply. I am so worried and confused. I don't know if my PI is what it should be for 33+2. I get conflicting information really. I have a growth scan on Monday, so I am hoping for more answers then. I did the really silly thing of googling everything which hasn't helped me at all. I too am on Asprin, since 12 weeks. This is my first baby, I had a previous miscarriage at 15 weeks, so I am heightened anyway. I really appreciate you replying to me x

Honestly it's such a worrying time isn't it! Especially with your history I can get why it's even more so!

So the only treatment they offer for a high PI is the Aspirin anyway so you're already on that which is good! Hopefully the next growth scan will give you more information and of they haven't already arranged a consultant review I'd be asking for one just so they can explain what's happening so you know what options are available or are potential outcomes such as early delivery, more scans/CTG/monitoring etc?
