I'm so sorry to hear about your NT. I'm on here looking for support just like you and wondered how you got on with the tests? I had NT of 8.4mm at 12 weeks then had the CVS last week. The NT had increased to 12mm at the CVS and the consultant said it wasn't important....baffled me. He thought it may be edwards syndrome. First set of results came back clear but have to wait 2 weeks for the next lot. I'm finding it really hard because I can't have hope, I've read so many sad stories with high NT.

Hi mine unfortunately didn't go well, my babies heart had stopped beating at 14 weeks when I went to go have the cvs. The fact ur first results have come back good seems to be of hope. Hopefully your second results come back fine.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you're keeping ok? I know it's such a dark place to be and hard to find positivity. Xx

Hello, I just wondered how everything went for you?

I went for my 12 week scan and showed a high NT but all structure of baby okay in regards to growth, nose bone, arms, legs, head etc. But because of high NT they have taken my bloods and then referred me for a CVS today in london which they confirmed high NT and fluid on chest exact words were; generalised skin oedema and fluid in the fetal chest (hydrops). We suspect a cardiac anomaly but the small size of the baby limits the ability to diagnose this for certain. I’ve only just turned 24 years old and this just doesn’t seem right to me nor fair due to my luck the last few years. I have got a lot of satisfaction out of some of the replies on here but i can only see some dated in 2011-2014 but i am new to this. I just wondered if anyone had any advice, had anything similar and it’s all very grey at the moment and they seem quite negative about the high NT which i am prepared for the worse but just want to hold some hope as really don’t want to loose the baby. Thanks x
