Hi all,
I got tested last week thursday (I was at exactly 24 weeks), results were:
4.3 fasted (didn't eat from 10pm the night before)
75g glucose drink
6.7 after 2 hours

Now I know that it says everywhere that anything under 7.8 is fine, but I wonder if 6.7 is still not borderline high? Shouldn't it have returned to baseline?-ish? I'm afraid it's a bit close to the cut-off point of 7.8, for GD diagnosis

It’s absolutely fine and normal, do not worry

6.7 is absolutely fine. I had GD in my first pregnancy; you really don’t need to worry with a result like that.

As others have said, completely fine. For more reassurance, they asked type 1 diabetics to keep their blood sugar under 7 so you've even beaten that target!

Ok, thanks all! much appreciated

I had gestational diabetes in 2 pregnancies my GTT results were 5.6 fasting 9.1 after,
2nd time 6.1 fasting 7.9 after. Your results sound normal and no indication of GD.
