First scan?

Hi all, how long did you wait for your first midwife appointment? And how long did you wait for your first scan? I still haven't received any info on when my first appointments will take place and I'm wondering how long I will have to wait...it's all I can think about! Thank you! :)

First midwife appointment (booking appointment) at 8-10 weeks, mine was mostly done over the phone then needed a physical appointment to get bloods taken. Scan appointment then came through in the post after that. I think it probably depends on where you are though and varies by area!

Thank you @BridieConvert ! I didn't realise that you only get the scan appointment after the first midwife appointment, that's good to know - I'll stop manically checking the post in that case haha! I'm based in Brighton so guessing I may have quite a long wait..

as you’re in Brighton you need to self register with the hospital too, see what hospital is and Google it. Once you self register they should make an app for your scan. And you’ll also be sent a text with a code for the badger notes app, where you’ll see (most of ) your app, blood results etc.
